Hi,am new to this.I have had terrible 'bad back'for 20 years.1st time i was told it was because i had dislocated my cockex when i gave birth,i was 21 then.I then suffered with siatica down my bum and leg every 12months approx. In 2006 i fell on my left hand side of my bum and could't walk or move(very hard going to toilet)hardly,i was given tremadol and diazipan without the doctor coming to see me.I have suffered ever since then with ok pain and then severe pain.It feels like i have been hit across my back really hard and winded. It is so bad sometimes i can't even lift my head for a drink.I have seen a doc in the hospital who said he can't do anything for me as i have too many trigger points in my back to operate. He did not make much sense. All i want is to know exactly what is wrong and how to fix it.My gp told me a week ago that i had severe siatica due to prolapsed discs.I take amitryptyline, oxycodone and sometimes diazipan.I have not worked since i fell.I have asked for an mri scan but would i be any wiser.I am waiting for a second opinion now.I get upset that even walking or sitting can set it off.I have read lots of posts on here and can't believe so many people suffer with backs this much. The NHS should make a hospital especially for us lot that have back problems.
