Prolapsed Disc Fix It's Self ?

I've had a prolapsed disc for a few months now, I'll spare the boring details of the pain etc. I was due to have surgery today but decided as I seemed to be making small improvements that I would let nature take it's course as I have been told it would do eventually without surgery. Having seen the MRI scan and the protrusion of the disc I find it difficult to understand how this will fix it's self. Does anyone have any information on nature's way as I have not been able find anything on the net ?

For some people, the Nerve Block/Cortisone does bring relief. For others, there is no change to pain levels after these injections, and further options may need to be explored at this point. I hope that for you they will make some difference. While the injection did not work for me, I know of others who have found great results, so I do hope that it is a success for you.
