Hi everyone
I'm new to the forum . I've suffered from a L5/S1 disc prolapse since November last year. I ended up having a micro-discectomy in May this year. The excruciating pain is gone although I still have a numb/leg foot and some cramping so I guess it will take some time for the nerve to recover.
That said, I've read so many stories of people's experiences with this debilitating condition and I find myself so frustrated with how the medical community same to treat the similar, if not same conditions so differently.
I'm feeling very positive though, it was the right choice for me.
