VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – Investigations into several Volusia County massage parlors ended with prostitution charges at 10 locations, according to the sheriff’s office on Friday.
In a release, deputies said that they began investigating reports of prostitution at the parlors this week with the help of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Several stings involved undercover detectives masquerading as customers, paying for massages and being offered sexual services during the session, arrest affidavits show.
The release says that arrests were made at the following businesses:
- DeLand: My Sunshine Spa — 1702 N. Woodland Blvd.
- Suspect: Haiying Lan, 33
- DeLand: Nice Massage — 200 S. Spring Garden Ave.
- Suspect: Fengxian Wu, 40
- Deltona: Azalea Massage — 2031 Saxon Blvd.
- Suspect: Jie You, 54
- Deltona: Joy Spa — 667 Deltona Blvd.
- Suspect: Shihong Zhang, 60
- Edgewater: AA Massage — 2329 S. Ridgewood Ave.
- Suspect: Xiuhua Ma, 59
- Edgewater: Jasmine Spa — 800 W. Indian River Blvd.
- Suspect: Hongyan Ye, 49
- Holly Hill: Massage Eden — 1025 N. Nova Road
- Suspect: Yanhua Sun, 58
- Orange City: Massage Asia — 631 S. Volusia Ave.
- Suspect: Yao Yao, 65
- Ormond Beach: Asian Massage — 431 S. Nova Road
- Suspect: Yan Qin, 51
- Ormond Beach: East Spa — 170 S. Yonge Street
- Suspect: Zhiying Tan, 52
The affidavits reveal that all of the suspects arrested were from China, so a language interpreter was used to help translate in most of these cases.

Throughout the investigation, detectives said they interviewed the employees involved to determine whether they could be human trafficking victims.
However, none indicated they were subjected to human trafficking, the release states.
Deputies said they are continuing to investigate alongside Homeland Security Investigations, the Department of Health, and the Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
