Visited osteopath following low back pain. Have anterior tilt. Many years of probs on and off. He massaged psoas on both sides, quite deeply, but not at all vigorously. I was supine, and he had me bend leg up and down slowly from knee whlist he pressed, trying to release. He said it was extremely tight. Have had a lot of emotional upheaval this year.
Right side is fine. Left side got swollen in the night and painful, now cannot walk properly. Have been icing it and resting and taking anti inflammatories.
How common is psoas strain or injury following treatment? Anyone had experience of this? He is away now for 3 weeks, I hope to spk to an associate on Mon at his office.
Many thanks.
