I vaguely recall seeing a post somewhere on this, but I have searched and can't locate it.

I recently was involved in a large athletic event, providing massage for some exceptional athletes.

I am interested in sending some PSA's to a few local papers, and possibly a news spot on a local radio station.

I am wondering if anyone out there knows how to get this rolling, if there is a cost involved and any other info that might be helpful.

If you can give me some input, no matter how large or small, no matter what country you are from, it would be greatly appreciated. Even the things you think won't help, sometimes jog another idea in my brain!

I would strongly suggest using PRWeb.com to promote your announcement. It is geared towards press releases but I think if you do it in PR style you should be fine. An account with them is free, they suggest donations for higher distribution -- I donated $5 and my PR was viewed over 2,000 times. It helped keep my business name high in the local search for reflexology.
