Pudong - bars

there is a Sofitel on Yang Gao Road in Pudong. Across the street are a few bars. I have not been in yet, but they look like the kind of bars you want.

I thought I'd update the situation in Pudong, as quite a lot of us stay in this area now, with major hotels in this new district. I prefer the bar scene, as like to have a few drinks, talk to the gals, and then select the ones I fancy ; some I could only fancy after a few drinks !

Tongren Lu in Puxi seems to be the best at the moment for this, but sometimes working late, just want a bar nearby. Plus, Tong Ren Lu is packed to the brim with businessmen and load of filli ladyboys. The road just behind the Eton Hotel on Dong Fang Lu in Pudong, I think its called Changli Lu, its under construction at the moment, but several bars can be seen, just walk over the mud to get to the bars.

Went to the Old Tavern, an old British style pub, reasonable prices on drinks and snacks available. The Mamasa / Manager called Annie, she's 7-8/10, sexy as they always are, but the other girls 4 to 5 fillis : probably 4-6/10, and several Chinese probably 4-7/10.

The deal is : buy the girl 6 drinks and she can come out with you. She'll charge Rmb 800 for the whole night for the full works, but can negotiate to get even Rmb 500 for the night if you're really good and its late.

Went to the Sports Bar few doors down - a total rip-off.... girls below average,and nothing much going on. Mainly bar girls, and UK priced pub drinks.

Please let me know if there are any more of these types of bars in Pudong.
