As you can see I had no idea what to call this. A friend and former professional ballet dancer has had quad cramps in the right quad for 20 years (so got them while dancing, around the age of 30). She recently discovered a daily stretching routine that works about 60% of the time. I just went online to research them and read that the psoas pressing against the femoral artery can cause quad cramps. Because of an inguinal hernia, she is very protective of that
