Question about stones

[Clueless]

Hello there,I have got a question about the stones.  Do I just hold them in my hand for their power to work or do I put them next to the chakra that might be clogged or at least weak.  I know massage I don't much about stones. I have taken a Reiki class and I need to bring some energy down to get confidence up so I can make money this next week.  Part of my problem is I am feeling really down about the lack of money so I need to do some energy work. I hope this all makes sense.  Talenyn I saw your website it was cool. But it was still  more than I could understand.  I know what an amethyst is cause that is my birthday stone and I think I know a lapis. I have a pale yellow nearly clear I don't know what kind of stone this is. I also have a small brown two toned that is shaped like a triangle. I don't know if you or anyone can tell me about these by this lame description.Any help would be great.Trish

Hi Trish,Thanks for the compliment on the site!  I took me many years to get where I am with crystals, so don't dispair. It depends on what your intent is with the crystals in how you work with them. Holding them is usually enough for most work. If you are working with a particular chakra, then I would place the stone on that chakra. The pale yellow clear crystal sounds like natural citrine. The two tone brown crystal, does the lighter color shimmer? If so it is probably golden tiger's eye.For prosperity I would work on the solar plexus chakra with citrine. You may also want to work with some black tourmaline to absorb the negative energy too. Check your pm's too. Jenn
