i've been getting massages for years and really benefit from them, since i suffer from a panic disorder.

there is a spot (i call it the 'puke spot' since i sometimes feel a little nauseous from it), it's lower back, on either side above hip bone. (maybe near where kidneys are)
had a massage tonight and that spot was intense.
what is it about this spot?

I don't know the area that does that for me is around T6.

Also, the adrenal glands are in that area. A panic disorder would definitely put stress on your adrenals.

You may want to check out a book called "Adrenal Fatigue" by James Wilson. I found it very interesting.

not to confuse you, but there may be more input from traditional chinese medicine. the spots you are describing could be points on the Urinary Bladder Meridian:

It may just be a very sensitive spot for you and overloading the nervous system causing almost a vaso vagal response. On a side note, I know there is a trigger point called the "belch button" which it may indeed be on you.
