RACE, AGE, CUTENESS?

I was looking up some things on the web and somehow came across a porno glossary, they can come up with the most innocent searches.  It was just a page or A-Z things, didn't take much notice until I spotted "craiglist.com" and I thought that was the site mentioned on this board a few times.  I now see that people are using "craigslist.com" but having just looked at the first one, I can see why people may be confused. I don't know which one came first, but the other one was obviously hoping to get some extra traffic from mistyped urls.  And I was always under the impression that an ATM was an Automatic Teller Machine.

At the risk of sounding rude myself, I'll play devil's advocate here.  There are situations where I can understand asking if the therapist is American.  I can tell you from personal experience, it is very frustrating to go to a Dr.'s appointment and not be able to understand him/her because the accent is heavy or their grasp of the English language isn't that great.  I've had sales people call that I couldn't understand.  It can be hard to carry on a conversation with someone like that - and some clients like to talk during their massage.  It doesn't necessarily make them racist.I've had first time male clients call and ask if the therapist will be male or female, simply because they don't feel comfortable having another male touch them.  That doesn't necessarily mean they are looking for anything sexual.And, yes, I agree if someone is asking about age and looks, a red flag would go up in my mind.And, no, not everybody who lives in America is American.  Re: 9/11. But, because this is America, everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty, even people who ask rude questions.Scav

if any client ask that ? over the phone we just tell them that that information has nothing to do with the therapist ability. but one time i had fun with it a man called in and asked for  our best looking female therapist so i booked him with our oldest therapist (50 somthing) it was great to see the lookon his face when she greeted him as his MT for the day.

RACE, AGE, CUTENESS?

I had a similar problem during my internship at school. A man called in and asked for a massage, and I was the only therapist available (I was the only one who showed up to school to actually take the clients, lol). When the teacher told the man that he'd be scheduled with "Jeff," the man asked, "Jeff... is she black or Asian?" The teacher told him that I was a male, and he said "Oh, well then, I'll call back next week." I'm thinking, wtf? If someone were to look for that type of 'massage,' why would they call a legit school?! It just boggles my mind the number of people we have in this area that hire / would hire a prostitute. Our internship was $25/hr massage. I'm sorry, but if I were a prostitute, I think I'd charge a lot more than $25/hr!!!

I was hired to give chair massages to the nursing staff at our local hospital for Nursing Week.  One nurse refused, simply because "women shouldn't touch other women".  Go figure!  I live in a rural area- my town is 6000 people -surrounded by towns of 200 to 1200 people.  Old ways die hard and slow here, especially for men.  I was shocked by the female nurse's response, but I hear it lot from men, that they don't want another man touching them.Scav
