Fayetteville, N.C. — A 73-year-old woman is accused of making money from a business that was billed as a massage parlor, but was being used for prostitution, according to an arrest warrant in the Cumberland County Magistrate’s Office.
According to The Fayetteville Observer, Dao Thi Holley, of the 100 block of Ivy Stone Drive in Raeford, was charged Wednesday with promoting prostitution for profit and misdemeanor keeping a place for prostitution.
Holley, owner of the Red Rose Studio at 7133 Cliffdale Road, knew that the business was being advertised as a “place for illicit massage service,” the warrant said.
“It has been confirmed, though multiple eyewitnesses’ testimony, that male clientele received sexual services for the exchange of money,” the warrant said.
Fayetteville police investigators say that Holley’s vehicle was photographed on the property on multiple occasions.
“It is more than obvious that she knows and is involved in the illicit activities tied to the Red Rose Studios,” the warrant said.
Bail was set at $50,000.
