Additionally, four men, including two individuals employed in the tech industry, were detained as they were at the Spa for its services. The police also managed to rescue 14 women who had been trafficked for prostitution.
The police received a tip-off leading to the raid. This resulted in the apprehension of the organizers of the Spa and the men found in the company of the women.
Investigations revealed that Shayad Yusuf Basha and Jyoti Bajaj were the operators of the Spa and were supplying sex workers to customers.
The organizers charged customers around Rs 2,000 for the services, while the women involved in prostitution were paid up to Rs 15,000 per week. The accused individuals were presented before the court, and the women who were rescued were taken to a shelter home for protection.
