Visited Rainbow Health Spa on Queensway just east of Kipling on the north side. (no relationship to the Rainbow massage places on Adelaide) New place and has the look as just renovated. No shower in room but the one availalbe is new looking and clean in another seperate room, hallway seperates the rooms.
Two middle aged asian ladies, Michelle and Jenny. Neither of them are eye candy but between the two Michelle was who I picked since her english was better than Jenny's. She said they give a theraputic massage there so I figured if I at least get a good massage out of this it won't be a total loss.
Michelle suggested the hour for $60. and I figured I would check out her massage skills. Towel placed over my body then she walks on the back. Some deep massage with the towel on. I like it deep but her massage didn't really impress me. For the most part it was back walking and muscle massage over the towel. I figured this was all that was to be.
Coming near the end of the session, literally within a few minutes of ending, she does some lite massage tease. She asks me to flip and I am told a few minutes remain, like I said a couple of minutes remain. With no teasing and only 2 minutes left I declined the ending offer since she clearly was either trying to upsell more time or she just wasn't at all interesting in doing the endings.
If the massage was good at least I could have felt the session had some good to it. However the massage was really average, below average. They offer reflexology and other spa items but after sampling their idea of a good massage I won't be returning.
