I went there today and only found a karaoke room to rent... no spa, no girls...

I was told that gils will come after 8pm, but it not looked like a place for take girls for me...

The place is on the 6th floor and you don't take a shower prior to selection, coz the girls will do it in the room...and i'm positive that it's called rainbow room ( there is an ad in the elevator).

Maybe they changed it and I like the change....lol

Maybe they changed it recently. Or "rainbow room" is a sauna in the same building as the place that I described, and we are talking about different places? The rest of my description sounds familiar to you, for example that you don't take a shower before you see the girls?

I've been going there for last 2-3 months and every time there is a fishbowl selection, although not more then 10 girls. So, you are actually in front of the window and able to choose.
Don't know what happened to ur friend but these are the facts that I've experienced...

Drive to the Fake market (Taobao world) on Nanjing Lu 580, crossroad Chengdu Lu. You can also take the Metro to People's sqare, have a burger at Carls jr. and take a 10min walk along Nanjing Lu from there.
When you are standing in front of the entrance to the Fake market, you'll already see a sign on your left, advertising for "rainbow room". It's easy to spot. Walk to the left and walk around the building (90 degrees), then enter the commercial building. Get into the elevator and DON'T get out at the rainbow room, which is some kind of restaurant or god knows what.
Leave the elevator at the sauna level and their english-speaking staff will pick you up from there. Have fun.

This place isn't called rainbow room. It is just in the same building, but on a diferent floor. I have been there place several times and the experiences were nice enough yet not outstanding. The problem is that they do not have the fishbowl concept and only offer 3 to 5 girls (if you're lucky) at a time. After entering the place you change to a Kimono, without taking a shower, then you are led to a room where you can watch silly chinese TV and wait for the girls. They all greet you and then the manager asks you to pick. If you are mean enough to send the first girls away, you will have to wait for a long time for the next girls.
Two months ago, I sent a fellow mpnet member to this place, a guy who visited SH during a business-trip and met me for a pint and some advice. They only presented him 1 girl on a weekday around 9pm, making me loose face completely. After asking for other/more girls, they told him that he would have to wait 40 minutes for anoher girl. He chose the first one, received so-so service and was very disappointed, of course. One hour later he came back to Malones and finally went home with a FL from Manhattan, who provided excellent service by the way.

I felt like sharing some info with all of u guys...I'm sure that many know about this place...but here we go.
Couple of months ago, I've found this place, based on some comments here and recommendations from some of my friends. I was not disappointed at all. Since then I became a regular visitor, especially when they told me what's the deal.
Standard 680rmb for 1-1.5 hours ( depending on a girl's mood) but what attracted me is the deal with 2 girls. Namely, 880rmb for 1.5-2 hours. For my money, that's a great deal ( same amount is at Golden 18 for 1 girl). Also, the selection is great and I never had any problems finding the type that I like. Usually was going around 6-7pm but couple of times even around midnight. There are a lot girls to choose from but I got a thing for No. 68 and 82. The service I got from them was 10/10. There is a proper showering, followed with whatever you want. The rooms are not as good as in Golden 18 but to be honest I didn't care that much about it . They provided proper GFE and they can speak some English as well. What else could I ask for? I always check if 68 is there and then I let her to choose another girl for us. Every single time her choice was spot on.
Therefore, my friends, my suggestion is to definitely go there and give it a shot.
