Ratio of regulars to non

This discussion came up the other night, and I was curious what the group has to say.

We all have our regulars that we see like clockwork (weekly, monthly), and we also have clients we see less frequently (once a year, quarterly, etc.).

What perceneforum.xxxe or ratio of regulars (you see them once a month or more) to non-regulars do you have in your practice.

The discussion also centered around marketing and what we do for regulars vs attracting new clients, and also converting them to regulars.

I have about 90% regulars, 10% occasional. In Dec. every single appointment was with a regular.

This topic is very interesting to me since I haven't really thought about this aspect. I suppose I figured that most of the clients I would get once I get started would be new clients.

Maybe this is because of my own lack of receiving regular massage I guess I just thought that most people do tend to lapse when it comes to taking care of themselves.

I'm at about 95% regulars, and 5% occasional.

(This number is based on regulars coming in at least once within an 8 week period. However the majority of my 95% come monthly or more frequently.)

Also though - most of those 10% new clients quickly turn into regulars....

Mine is just about 50/50

My business is on-site chair massage, which might possibly explain the difference in comparison to in-office practitioners.
