I can't understand the lack of reviews. Everytime I stop to see a girl that I enjoy they are busy or I can't get an appointment till a few hours later. Gentleman I hobby quite a bit at two places that I review here plus a shit-load of Indy's. I even dropped off a box of massageplanet business cards for one AMP. My question is are all of you just LURKERS???

My gut reaction is that for every active participant on this board, there are probably 5-6 registered lurkers and 5-6 unregistered lurkers.

Be interesting if massageplanet management could suggest:

1.) How many people a day visit this site but do not log in.
2. How many people are registered, have visited the site in the last 30 days, but have never (a) posted or (b) written a review.

This thread probably belongs in some other forum?

tigercat, here is an example. Last week I went to 7th Heaven to see Tiffany. I had an appointment. I was early. The parking lot was full, all girls were busy. During my session the door bell must have rung at least 2xs. At Smile I rotate with Cris, Bebe, Sue Lucia. When I arrive they are packed. The reviews on here don't reflect this. I am only one person. Why can't more people contribute? I joined this site to help and be helped.

How many reviews do we need on the same providers over and over again?? It' s different if someone goes someplace other than Jade, Smile, or 7th Heaven. Reading the same reviews of the same girls are like watching reruns.

I went to see Ashley and Penny both this past weekend. I was going to write reviews on both but I have nothing new to add to my past reviews. They were great then and now.

My guess overall is just plain laziness. It takes time to write an in depth review and maybe for some married guys it's just not possible.

I'm guessing not every AMP customer found the AMP in question by browsing massageplanet. Wouldn't you estimate/think a predominate perceneforum.xxxe of their business is walk-in? I tend to think that in spite of how good massageplanet is, we are not the majority of the AMP client base. Of course, I could be totally wrong.

Yes, more info the better. But personally, overall, I like the way the things are:.

I thought there are lot of reviews for our area. Compare the number of reviews for Texas compare to the other states, even California.

It takes dedicated time to post reviews in my opinon. And you have to be a descent writer. FYI, compare to the others, my review sucks. So I appreciate the reviews that much more.

If more reviews are in strong demand, make it quicker and easier to complete.. Such as, have a preset category and or checklist , i.e., Nina@Hawaii and check off L2, L3, prettiness,(rating), service (rating), and recommendation rating.

However, then be prepared to deal with the problem of not having enough detailed review, real post vs. fake post, upsell, new girls come and go, and service rating is even more subjective.

Only thing I wish as a reader is have a subfolders under each spa. Pick, Smiles, and then list of all the girls work there with the most recently reviewed ones up at top.

If I make up my mind to go to a particular spa, I would like to know easily who is there instead of slowly keep on scrolling or doing a search on my dumb phone (not a smart phone). I feel bad asking for a line up as only one girl would be getting my business and the rest will not.

RP my guess is there are plenty of hobbyist who don't use this site or internet and those are the cars you see in the parking lot rather than lurkers. I'm a prime example as I didn't run into aspd until about two years ago and had been hobbying in Dallas since the late 90's without any assistance from the internet.

Have spent a lot more time of late in the northern dallas/metro spa's who don't want reviews and a few indies; prior I used to spend my efforts in the amp's but because of location and lack of time it has become more difficult.

RP I used to visit Smile often especially when Cindy first began working there, then Penny came along, really enjoyed my time there. I can recall seeing the flooring get changed out a couple different times!

Seems that we are all seeing the same girls and reviewing those same girls. Perhaps with the demise of Bellagio's and Pink's (not to mention dozens of others), there just aren't as many girls to review. I've seen 5 or 6 girls that I could have reviewed over the past six months but haven't because there are already dozens of reviews and I have nothing new to add.

Additionally, I've found that there is a particular "formula" the girls at the old Hawaii follow and they never very. Don't get me wrong, the worst I ever had there was WONDERFUL. But all the girls I've ever had there followed the same formula. The sessions are structured, timed, and limited. One can do this but not that, kiss here but not there, hands here but not there. They never varried, they never expand their menu and after a while, they all seem the same to me. Some are prettier than others. That formula is found today at Jade's and the Cleopatra/ahloa studios. It's good, but I find myself wanting more. (and I'm not talking about BBFS).

I've found the girls at smiles more accomodating. More free swinging, adaptable, willing, and more importantly, careing. I like it there. But, over the last year it's been the same girls leaving and returning. A new girl comes in and stays for a short period then leaves.

Back in the day, I'd walk in to a studio and find a line-up of several beautiful, young, talented ladies all anxious to please. Recently at blue angel I was given the "bums rush" cause I didn't favor the lady who met me at the door. (guess where I'll never return to again).

I posted the return of 2 girls that worked at Smile in the past, and 2 brand new girls. Please show me all the reviews!!! I was told a looooong time ago that A_P_ accounted for 20% of the AMP business. Perhaps I stand to be corrected.

I have been mostly an AMP customer for several years. I see only a couple of indy K-girls.

Some of my favorites have moved around to various AMPs and of course, I follow. They have worked at popular (ASPD/massageplanet) and less popular AMPs. The story I get from them is that at the AMPs we see reviewed here regularly, a large perceneforum.xxxe of customers are "internet." Places like HI/Jade, Smile, 7th Heaven, Nan Cho, Oceanside, etc.

At other less reviewed AMPs, Forever Sun, Jasmine, 333, Dupond, and others, most are:
1. Regulars of a particular girl
2. regular "house customers".
3. Walk ins

Occasionally a less popular AMP has a new "celebrity, as the Original Penny at Aloha/Cleopatra, and suddenly they are getting reviews due to massageplanet members following.

it does get annoying at times to see the same group of girls getting reviewed a lot. but on the other hand... not every massageplanet member reads the amp reviews as often as some do. it can be hard to keep up.

let's take the great cindy for instance. she is among the most highly reviewed girls here. i've made no secret of how fond i am of her, but don't want to review her every week, or bump all her other reviews. but i will do so when i feel like it. so... does cindy need any more reviews? not for me and those who know how great she is. but many here heven't had the pleasure of knowing her for several years like me.

and how may times have guys seen a few good reviews but are still on the fence about a girl they've never seen? and how many new guys don't know about the 100 previous good reviews? no substitute for good, recent reviews. and a lot of guys are clueless about the search function.

and how about Original Penny? lots of great reviews, but she breezes into town for 2 or 3 weeks, then gone for a couple/few months. so a review when she shows up gets the word out to those who may have never heard of her, to those who maybe didn't see the notice i posted that she is back... and those that haven't read all her previous reviews (her last review was about 3 months ago). that's why i posted a review of her today. the more i can help her keep busy... the more likely she is to stay and/or keep returning. it's a WIN-WIN deal! i have reviewd her several times. and will again next time she returns... to help her... and me.

do i wish we could see more reviews of the amps-less-travelled? sure. and as someone else pointed out... we have lost a lot of amps in the last couple of years. what pisses me off is when a member does post a review of a girl at... say Hulahand, or Blue Star... MoonNight, etc and a bunch of guys crawl out of the woodwork and chime in on their faves at those places. and not a peep from them previously. if you have some atf's that are unknown here... help them out by posting a review. everybody wins.

Thanks Juan, That is what I was trying to say. Sue and Bebe have received a review or two. But the other girls are also busy but NO REVIEWS. It just seems like a waste of time reviewing.

I have done repeated reviews on several of my favs and I will again. I just don't want to re-do too often. Like Juan said, not everybody reads every review, so I think some repetition is fine. Also, new guys will not have seen reviews done only a few months ago.

Policy is not less than 90 days for the same provider unless something is different.

Right now only one that I am seeing regularly is not UTR. Kinda cramps my writing style. I could bore the hell out of people writing just one. The others I just have to keep to myself. LOL

Occasionally I see someone that is not a regular and may write a review. Usually if she is getting a lot of reviews I do not. Even that is not necessarily a good idea. I saw Holly a while back and did not review due to so many reviews. I have reviewed her before, but not this time. Looking back, this time was a little different from most of her reviews. It was different, but quite pleasant. Maybe I will go again and review this time.

I live in Austin but will be in Dallas in a couple weeks. I will write a review, and I will always look to the posted reviews before making my choice of establishments.

I would write more reviews is I had the time. But unless I stumble onto a under-reviewed provider, or have an experience that is outside the mainstream, I generally don't review a girl unless I have more time than usual on my hands. I suspect that many others are in the same boat. But who knows?

I think if you enjoy writing reviews or feel like you have something to add, by all means write one. But I don't necessarily think you can infer that the board would be significantly more information rich if everyone reviewed every visit.

I don't get bored reading similar reviews of the same girl, if nothing else it lets me know what to expect. If you have the time and inclination then I encourage everyone to post reviews.
