Hi everyone!!

I wrote a journal entry a few days ago that talked about soul mates and this is it:

This is not an entry I ever thought I would be writing at 24 years old but here it is. I really believe that people have soul mates that are never romantic. I know that many people think that soulmates are ones who someone has a romantic attachment to and that is sometimes the case. Also, I think people have more then one soulmate sometimes. I know I do. Its funny, I was just resting and all of a sudden it kinda just popped into my mind. I have a few people that I am that close to and its great. I think I have at least four soul mates and the funny thing is I would not know what to do if I ever lost them. They are like family to me (not that my friends are not, you all are but this is different). I feel especially connected to these couple of people and its probably got a LOT to do with how much we have been through together. I just wanted to write this down because if I don't its gonna be in my head all night. I just want to say that soulmates are real and everyone has one romantic or not and finding that special person or people in your life is priceless.

I wrote this on the 23rd and I found this article in my reiki newsletter that comes in my e-mail. It is dated from 2004 but the fact that it talks about soulmates again makes me really believe I am even more clearly on my own spiritual path and that I am very connected to the Divine so here is the link http://www.spiritualone.com/Online/Aug07/BestOfOnline2.htm#s

Thoughts on the soul mate concept or your connection to divinity?

It is so nice to have outward confirmations to our inner knowings or understandings. Truly, if you are seeking, then you are also finding what you seek, but only you can know if you are on your spiritual path and connected to your Divine Source.

The soul mates article was interesting to read. I think the only time I really cared about the soul mate thing was when I wasn't married but really wanted to be. Then I was wondering how I would ever find this person.

In a general way, I feel that encountering anybody on any given day gives us the opportunity to live our spiritual path, and in that way, any one we encounter can be a 'soul family' helping to guide us.

For me

For me, there was only one soulmate.

I knew it when I met him, I knew it when the relationship ended, and I know it now, 8 years later.

I can't speak for anyone else but for me, there was only the one.

Although we still weren't able to make it last (we've tried before, in other lives) I am grateful that I once again found him and that we had the time together that we had.
