Really started to get pissed!! What is going on?

OK ..I'm starting to get a little ticked off. Put shortly I have been getting emails from men out of the country stating that they are coming into town and requesting appointments on certain dates. The crazy part is they all want to pay me in "advance" AND by money order. Which would require my addresse and full name, something I do not do! At first I was thinking ok.. maybe this how they do it in London and China BUT I haven't heard anything about this type of thing from anyone else. After telling them I do not accept money orders etc. but we can still confirm , One guy sent me hotel info in Cali the other scheduled coming into Detroit TODAY and you guessed it A NO SHOW! As if that isnt annoying enough I have gotten several emails from a few here who schedule ahead of time, confirm, reply and send me several emails. Leading me to think they are serious and then do not fall through.

Is it just ME? the fact that I'm new to the internet scene? Do I seem to eager or maybe even naive? I would really like anyones input on this. That knows how this works and what I'm doing wrong. This child's play is starting to get under my skin BIG time. Its a waste of time and I miss out on those who are serious booking with these guys who are not.

Hey longlegsinheels.........the guys wanting to send you money orders is a scam.
More than likely they are e-bay scammers. They will direct buyers to send
money orders to your address.
Potential victims feel better about sending to a USA address.
They will want you to deposit money orders and transfer money.
The trail leads to you. Hard to get at them, they are overseas.
AVOID!

I've been getting e mails of men wanting to pay in advance in which would require me to give my info as well. I just ignore them. If it sounds to good to be true it usually is. You always have to read between the lines and if you have doubt, just steer clear.

I agree they really do know many ways of trying to sugar coat thier proposals and make it look really sweet. Some will even try to lure you in by not mentioning the money order in thier first e mail.

Thank you all for your input it all made sense to me. I see I am not the only one who's getting this sort of thing in their box. So that helps I was starting to think I was a "newbie target"
