reflex and Eczema

My nephew has eczema everywhere except his face (where as my other nephew has it only on his face!) - and i was wondering if any one has every treated this condition with reflexology? as i have been asked to try.

if so, could anybody give me any tips about which areas are best to treat for this? i would like to help if there is a good chance i could?

Ooo where to start? Elimination. Work the digestive system well and also the solar plexus for relaxation. The lungs and the digestive system are paired, so both deal with elimination, work the lungs also.

Have you questioned diet? Usually dairy products make it worse, though wheat is also a culprit.

If you want to look at our Centre website (in my signature) there is information on NAET which is an allergy elimination technique.

The body is not coping with the allergy/sensitivity and it can be caused by other underlying problems. Dig about a bit and see if you can find out what might be causing it.

thanks candie. i thot the digestive was a good place to start, i was just making sure. i have asked about diet, but she seems to think that it flares up more int he summer, and not in the winter (but im thinking tha he is only a year old and these things can develop cant they?)

Is he on formula or breast milk? both can cause allergies. could be something else though. Bit soon to say it is worse in the summer as you say, being only a year old. Bedding? Washing powder etc? Just a thought. Pets? If on breast, maybe something mum is eating?
