Hiwhich is best for reflexologythe reclining lafuma chair or a therapy couch , as the couch even when reclined with a cusion behind the client seems a little long with shorter clients , any ideas BJalso is the lafuma better in any way than cheaper chairs at wilkos or woolworths BJ

I bought my recliner chair from Argos - cost mke abt £40 i think. One of the best investments i have made for my business. I have had my chair for three years now and its still in one piece and good condition. My clients love this chair and a couple have commented that they are going to buy one for themselves to relax in.

I used to use the couch but although mine is adjustable in height its a pain to adjust. With the recliner chair, i find the feet are at the right height to have the treatment carried out with. If i find they are low, then i stick a pillow on my thighs and put this under the chair to raise the feet slightly. I also put a bolster under the clients feet too and this gives a further rise as well.

I would not go back to using a couch especially since i treat a lot of pregnant women and they would find it difficult to get on and off the couch (unless yours is hydrolic).

Don't think about anything else but a lefuma - if you have the money - get the padded version - clients love it
