Would any one know where I can get my hands on some crystal wands for reflexology, names of any websites would be a great help

Massaging these points restores the flow of energy throughout the whole body and promotes health and well-being.
These reflex points can be stimulated with the thumb and fingers or with a crystal wand. Using a crystal wand has the added benefit of incorporating the healing properties of crystals into the practice.

I do believe if you are a member of SIR or AOR that one of theri criteria is that no implements are to be used during treatment.

Just the hands and fingers.

Never, ever heard of "reflexology crystal wands". Where did this idea originate from then?

Hi,

I qualified with the AOR 6 months ago, and I've never heard if anything else being used to give Reflexology - in fact, I thought its totally natural application was one of the strong points in this therapy! Not that I disapprove of crystals (I know they are natural, too) - but just puzzled..

Hi,

I also qualified with AOR and was told, during the module on history of reflexology, about the Rwo Shur (Sp?) school of reflexology. They use implements for the treatment which look more like instruments of torture! Ouch!! There has been an article about it in Reflexions and people say it is wonderful but I am not convinced!

As for crystals I would say they would be a useful adjunct to a reflexology treatment as the colours and vibrational energies will help to balance the chakras. Chakras and their crystals were also covered in our course though we did not use any crystals in the course.

I am studying colour therapy at the moment in order to enhance my treatments and may use crystals at times. I would not myself class the crystals as implements.
