Hi all
I would be grateful for some advice please. There are some very contradicting messages on treating people with high/low blood pressure with Reflexology. One of my reflexology courses says most definately not to treat it as it speeds up medication and could make the pressure even higher or lower, the other of my courses says it is ok to treat. Also a tutor at a 2 day workshop I attended recently has been treating it for nine years without any problems. My Indian Head Massage tutor will not treat it, yet in books I have read it does not say not to treat. I'm in a bit of a quandry what to tell my clients. I have had a few people wanting treatment but have warned them against it, but perhaps to speak to their doctor first, but I think this puts them off. The thing is, I won't treat them unless I am absolutely sure it will be ok. Some comforting advice would be most appreciated.
Thank you!
