I think the sequence differs according to which training you have. I did AoR and we followed Dwight Byers sequence. I've had treatments from others with different training, ITEC etc and its quite different.
I was taught, but now vary as I think best, the following.
Greet the feet, Warm up (rotations, massage etc) starting on left foot and then right, solar plexus breathing.
Right foot first. Pituitary/hypothalamus, Brain, neck, spine, sinuses, eyes, ears, eustachian tube. Shoulder, Axilla, arm, elbow, knee, hip. Thymus, thyroid, parathyroid, (heart on left), chest/lung, diaphragm, solar plexus. (Liver, gall bladder, stomach, pancreas, duodenum on right) (Stomach, pancreas, spleen on left). Work across small intestines, ileocaecal (right) ascending colon, pyloric flecture, transverse colon, (left) splenic flecture, descending/sigmoid colon, anus. Supporting musculature. Sciatic nerve.
Kidneys, adrenals, ureters, bladder, urethra. Repro's, lymph drainage to groin, achilles, all around ankles. then all across dorsal area for lymph and chest/lung/breast reflexes. Lymph drainage drawn up the dorsal to each toe.
Exit by big toe on left foot and free negative energies. Phew, but you did ask!
All these are usually worked several times depending on results. I also incorporate massage to soothe. I do a lot of linking as well now. I find the length of time depends on the size of the feet quite a lot and on the presenting problems.
With new clients I often 'Zone Walk' first to check for painful/congested areas, and if time allows I zone walk at the end too.
I must admit I sometimes realise I've forgotten something on the other foot and then just work it back into the routine, especially with chatty clients!
Anyway, most say 'aah lovely' at the end and come back for more.
Do you ever feel a tad envious sometimes. I wish I could treat myself. We treat all these people and neglect ourselves sometimes. I do treat my hands every day but its not the same.
