Reflexology taster sessions

Hi, im booked in for doing 7 taster sessions at a local gp surgery tomorrow 20mins each - this is my first time doing this and just need some advice re set up of chair.

For ease and hygiene can anyone confirm to me what they find quickest and best:

1 On lafuma, do you put towel roll on head area and change for each client or use a towel and turn it over and change between 2 clients?
2 For feet, as only a 20 min session would you cover the foot not being worked on at all while working right and left etc? (obviously my foot pillow will have a towel on that i will change on each client.

Any pointers or additional info would be most appreciated, thanks

I would change towels for each client and also cover the foot not being worked on. Just do as you would do for a normal length treatment.

Good luck with your sessions tomorrow. I have done this several times and found that it worked best for me as you say - to put one piece of couch paper under the head and another under the feet (my lafuma also has a fleecy cover) - it would not be practical to use a new towel for each client. When I do taster sessions I usually do some loosening techniques first and then work the toes and endocrine system on the first foot. Then I go onto the other foot and work the spine (I always explain that all this would be done on both feet in a proper treatment) - then the digestives on the first foot, etc, until I have covered all I can in the time allowed (but I also leave enough time for relaxation at the end) so that they go away feeling great! If there is not a wash basin handy I use my own bottle of hand sanitising gel between clients, having first wiped any excess cream off my hands.

I have written to my local health centre re taster sessions and they have not replied. I would love to do this.

Can I ask if they approached you or did you ask them? Also were these free sessions and were you treating staff or patients?
