Reflexology Text Books

Hi everyone,

Following an old post i made the decision and went for VTCT Reflexology which is due to start in Sept. Im really looking forward to it. Thank you to everyone who offered me advice.

Can anyone recommend any text books?

Hi Rainbow Girl.

'Hands on Reflexology' by Andrew James is a great book to use when you are training. It also will come in very handy when you have passed, i still referr back to mine and i have passes my exams over a year ago now.

There are loads of other good text books available to training Reflexologists (can't remember which other ones i have at home!!!), so ask your tutor and i'm sure they will be able to give you a list of books to get.

I would strongly recommend you go to your library and take out Eunice Inghams books, 'Stories the feet can tell' and Stories the feet have told'. She was the 'Mother' of reflexology and they make fascinating reads. She mapped the feet in the 1920's

Also the other reflexology bible which you might buy to keep is 'Better health with foot reflexology' by Dwight Byers. He is the nephew of Eunice and the 'Father' of reflexology. It is the best one I've read. All the basics I refer to it still.

There are lots of other very good books and I've read loads of them, but these people are the originators. Also get from the library any other reflexology book you see, saves a fortune and you can then decide which one to buy.

an introductory guide toreflexology by Louise Tucker

would anyone want to rid her/himself of this book?
