What are people's views on treating new client with verrucae.? I have had conflicting opinions on this am keen to know what other therapists think of taking on new business with this in mind?

Hi Jojo

I have no problem with treating people with verrucaes I just make sure I am double meticulous about hygene using an Anti Viral hand gel, avoiding the verruca itself (even putting a plaster over it with permission from the client) if it is in a hard to avoid area and washing the towels on the Hygene 90 degree cycle.

I have not had any problems.

I do much the same as Lou here, but use micropore tape as some people are allergic to plasters
