Regarding Massage bust & how safe are we?

Really how safe are we? I have been going to plats. for 4 years and one time it was visited by LE just as I was dressed and leaving. They went straight to the rooms and opened the doors. That was a close call. Plats does get visits from LE FYI. I knew HFH did also...In 4 years of going there I was leaving and saw LE walk in and open doors...only one time there as well that I seen. I know by laws are diff. and all, but how safe are we at allure and steels? I have been going to these ones as well for 4 years and never heard of or seen any LE activity...does that mean we are safe there 100% or can we still get raided and charged as "found in" and all that other crap....

what I meant was that it is legal for attendant to be naked in the room in brampton and mississauga so if LE comes in and we are both naked or I have towel on me are we ok? As long as they don't catch the girl performing an sex act are we legally fine?

I've never understood this....the spas are open LE knows about them. So what are you allowed to be doing in the spa? Why do they even allow them to open if you will be charged to be in one, I just don't understand the law on this. If your in a spa and LE comes in your automatically charged? Or do they have to catch you or someone else in the spa at the same time as you doing something they shouldn't be? It's just so frustrating!

Actually it is not that simple

You forgot about "without lawful excuse"

The real issue is whether or not being charged as a found-in will be an embarassement to you or not, plus the hassle of having to deal with the charge.

If you are charged as a found-in and they have no direct evidence you were engaged in prostitution acts then you will beat the charge. Your lawful excuse, "I was in a licensed massage parlour receiving a massage", which is similiar to "I was in a licensed establishment having a drink".

My personal experience is with the latter, and if you stand your ground chances are they will just drop the charge. Problem is your name will probably have already been published in the police media releases.

Licence check usually harmless unless MP or girl not lic'd. Bylaw didn't even inspect the room as I waited for MPA to show her photo id to LE.


MPA leave towel on buttock as per by-law. But if junior is well oiled, different story.

There's a HUGE number of Nosey Parkers out there. I can guarantee you that unless you live like a hermit and next to nobody knows you ( in which case what do you care anyhow?), there will be SOMEBODY you know, or who knows somebody you know, who will be regularly reading these kinds of things and will find out. There's lots of people who religiously read obituaries, for instance. Same idea.

To me, the system is very flawed.

So, if the place is found to be a bawdy house, which I have no way of knowing until it's too late, than I am breaking the law just being inside. But, if the place is not found to be a bawdy house than am I not breaking the law, but still have to go through the embarrassment of being arrested, and possibly having my name published as being a pervert.

A person should have the right to know if what he or she is about to do is against the law.

I feel sorry for the two guys that were caught could have been any one of us. I was just wondering if you were on the couch watching tv in the lounge waiting for your appointment would you get charged as well and with what watching oprah.

You make absolutely no sense. Our whole system of justice is based on proof, rights of the accused and innocent before proven guilty. That's where the "rights" of our system lie. Charges are thrown-out all the time because things are not proven, like speeding fines being reduced and thrown-out. Your act may be illegal, but your outcome is determined by the justice system (and certainly, there are prescribed sentences by legislation, but judges also have significant leeway in many matters). Media report every day on people who are charged with things, as opposed to actually being convicted of them.

Here's the right that you do have - if you don't want to run the risk of getting your name published, don't go to an MP. And if you want a very general rule about your rights - stepping into any place that offers a release IS against the law.

I know that the recent Newmarket ruling where the judge threw-out some recent charges against an MP or client (can't remember which, but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about) was a seen as a big victory and a blow against the police. However, they can, and do publish names. With that tactic in their back pocket, I wonder how much of a victory the ruling actually was or if it would inspire them even more to publish names of those charged.

Does anyone know what time they do the raids? I would think they do it when the place is the busiest...late at night? I always like to go see my fave girls first thing in the morning...9 or 10am. THe parlours are dead at that time and I don't see the cops coming in when the know the place is slow. Any other tips?

YUP - you'd be charged as a Found-In. To get out of a Found-In charge, or perhaps not to be charged on the scene, you need to have a LAWFUL excuse for being on the premises. Standard example is a plumber fixing the pipes (interesting metaphor here, but you know what I mean). Unless you could argue that you were lawfully there watching Oprah you're charged.

Can't remember the title of the thread, but there was one here in the fall or summer about a guy who literally opened the door and put one foot into an MP while it was being raided and was charged.
