Repairing a cut table top?

I have a small cut in the cover of my table, i was wondering how you fix it? i found some flexable glue at home depot, but wonder about using a patch underneath?

When I was younger, I did a lot of river and whitewater rafting with my family. For our boats, there was a patch kit and glue, if you got a tear, just apply glue and then place the patch over the tear. I'm sure there is something similar for whatever material your table is made from. Maybe do a search for patch kits for the type of material of your table?

I remeber those patch kits.

So, I googled and found this (see below). It may be useful. Since Walgreen's usually has a "seen on TV" section, I suggest you try to go look at it first. Maybe try Acadamy or Sun & Ski Sports too.

Have you contacted the table manufacturer to see what they recommend? That would be a good place to start!

Duct tape? Wow that's very low class.

I think they were referring to putting the duct tape sticky side up *underneath* the cut, to help hold it from the inside. You wouldn't actually see it there.
