I guess its been almost 2 months since molloscum appeared on the little guy. When I last posted I had been to the doctor 3 times for liquid nitrogen treatment. Well I have had 7 visits now and it appears I am almost in the clear. I have another appointment this week. I may have one more treatment but maybe in one or two places where small traces appear - as opposed to the other 10 spots where I was treated.

I must say that is not the physical treatment of this problem that has bothered me. Instead I have been pretty much emotionally drained. Its a real downer to lose you sexual capacity - so to speak. (As an aside - if you do contract molloscum make sure you don't "treat yourself like an amusement park" as it will spread very easily.)

My SO has been great. We have had to deal with similar issues in the past due to things being passed on from former relationships. In the mean time we have spent some "quality" time together which is a nice side bonus.

All in all, its been tough, and I don't wish it upon any of you. Be safe if you participate. Me, only safe way is never again. Recent visits to some SCs have been a nice diversion mind you.

How and where did you get it? My GOD!!!!!!!!!!!
I did a little reading about it. You can get it from anything like shaking someone hand, to a pool, hottub, towel or and bedspread. Anything damp or warm. This is Farking bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It also can take months or a year for it to show up.

Exactly - which is why it is tough to pinpoint as an STD 100%. I spend a lot of time in the gym, have travelled a lot and have been in numerous hot tubs, pools etc. BUT - I have also hobbied so what do you do. It is also something that is very common amongst young kids.

My point is to simply keep you guys informed and to lend an ear should you have to go through what I have recently. It certainly has made me think and it sounds like it has a number of you also.

I think you have it backwards wim - this is exactly the kind of info that people in this community need to be aware of.

You don't necessarily get it from hands. It comes from direct skin to skin contact in many cases - eg) bodyslide. Be careful and aware. Don't think your invincible simply because a girl washes her hands.

Also, based upon my discussions with others this is something that many of us have had to deal with and the more we can share the better off we will all be. Its nice when you know others are out there for support.

Well, you are not alone man... well, maybe on the molloscum front, you may be, but I learned after visiting a MP that I am allergic to latex. yeah.

So, well, we all got battle scars from this hobby of ours, maybe yours might go away, I know mine will, but, it has been confirmed, Latix and TdN don't mix!

You know, I have been hobbying for nearly forty years and in almost all four corners of the world! Knock on wood, I have never had any sexual disease or skin infections!

I had Mulscom Contagiosum about four years back just below my bell button. Forunately for me mine went away. I developed it before I ever started this hobby. 95% is from skin to skin direct contach, however in some cases it is caused through the sharing of towels and the likes. Although it can be removed through the use of liquid nitrogen (which is a pain I fortunately didn't have to endure) it is possible to return. About two years ago I had a brief relaps, that lasted a month or two. Again fortunately it went away on its own, and wasn't on Mr. Happy
