I have made 100's of trips to the border town venues and always avoided Acuna just for that reason. Back in the day when they charged $25.00 for 30 minutes in a room was absolutely crazy. Now it's gone even higher. The owner of the Hunters Club also owns one of the clubs in Piedras Negras. Not sure what the room price is there because once I found out who owned it I left.

All over Mexico there are sex motels, some with jacuzzis and all with AC, porno on the TV's, and most are very clean. These places go anywhere from 15 to 30 dollars for up to 6 hours. The 30 dollar ones are usually very nice. I never have figured out the mentality of trying to rip people off to get ahead. I guess he knows that some people willl pay it but still.

I looked at a house for rent one time in Ciudad del Carmen. I had a Mexican girl call to ask what the rent was and the response was, "Depending on who is renting it." Three levels of pricing, Mexican Price, Gringo Price, Company Price.

Nuevo Laredo has always been the better of the border towns. My best experience ever was in Nava but that was a once in a lifetime find that I just happened to stumble upon.

I am sitting in my motel in Del Rio, having just returned from my latest foray into Los Estados Unidos Mexicanos. As usual, I have useful information, so here's the facts:

Pedestrian Toll on bridge is 75 cents USA to Mexico (Quarters only) and 30 cents from Mexico to USA.

Taxi fare to Boystown from downtown Acuna was $15. It seemed like this is the slow season, so maybe I could have done some bargaining. Cab fare from Boystown to the bridge on the Mexican side was also $15.

Agua minerale at Hunters was $3. Girls drinks were $8. The staff seems a little more open about reminding you for tips than I remember.

You go with a girl to the room, it's now $30! I went in Nov. 2005, it was $25, then when I went in December it was $27, I thought they were jacking it up for the holiday season or something. But now, even when the place is as empty as a Reform Temple on the second day of Shavuos, they are charging the premium rate.

But wait. There's more. I must have gone temporarily mad, because I once again tried the old polygamy schtick and took 2 girls to the room. So guess what? They room charge was $60!!!! That's about what I spend for my (much nicer) room in Del Rio for the whole night!!! I hope the girls get a kickback out of that, because otherwise, it's a total ripoff, enough to drive a man to chastity!

OK, as for the girls, I would say they were about 6's, friendly enough while negotiating the transaction, but a bit overeager to wrap it up once in the room. That might be because I bargained them down from $200 for the two of them to $100. (I really didn't have any more money, except for cab fare back to the bridge.) So each girl got $50, plus the $60 for the room for a grand total of $160. The experience might have been OK, except for those damn industrial-strength Mexican condoms -- I mean, if you can't feel anything, how can you expect to maintain an erection? I'm thinking that in the future, perhaps my money is better spent on getting a BBBJ to completion, and the hell with intercourse. And after we were done, the girls actually asked for a tip, which never happened when I started doing this. I gave them $6, mostly symbolic, but I reminded them that we negotiated the price based on the fact that my funds were limited. Things must be getting harder in the United Mexican States, as everyone had their hands out. (Except for the cop(!!) who opened the door and let me into Hunter's. I't as little bizzare, I tell you, to go to a whorehouse guarded by the police.)

Anyway, the trip itself was uneventful. This area is hot as hell this time of the year. I crossed over at 8 PM and returned at about 11. It was 89 degrees at 8 and 85 at 11. The long walk over the bridge was OK, as the sun was down, and it was sort of pleasantly tropical, except that every so often you got a whiff of an odor that suggested that Acuna needs a new wastewater treatment pland and probably some sewerage infrastructure, too. The third-world poverty of the place seems more apparent, too, in the warmer weather, with lots of people on the street and that ripe odor in the background. The taxi ride is worth the fare if only as an eye-opener to see how the other half lives.

My re-entry to the USA was more or less problem free, except that they still seem more interested about what the hell a damnyankee is doing in Texas than they are about what I was doing in Mexico. I did have my passport, which might have smoothed things. As usual the Mexican authorities didn't even notice me as I walked into their country for the purpose of commercial fornication of their young (but of legal age) women.
