Reverse Phone number look-up

As I was trying to find who a phone number belonged to I had a thought! (yes it hurt!)

For those of us who do outcall... if you are ever unsure of a person, and they actually give you a number to call back, you can always do a reverse number look up. It may not work for a cell phone.  (Althought I will still tell all, if you are unsure, go with your instincts!)

There are many sites such as 411.com

Also great to try to find numbers of annoying telemarketers so you can call them to request them to cease and desist calls.

I really wish that there was something that you could look up a cell phone number.  I know I only use one for both business and personal use.  My house line is totally useless and I am considering getting rid of it.

Reverse Phone number look-up

http://www.WhitePages.com will give you the name of the carrier (Cingular, Sprint, Verizon, etc..), and the town the cell phone was registered in. It's a bit more than the other sites give.
