Review: AMP The Water Club @ the Rad

Located at the top floor of the Radisson in Richmond. Very impressive facility. Makes your average AMP eg Swan Lake, look like a dump. This was my first time there. Initially when I entered the spa, I was a little overwhelmed. The view is really nice from up there, and there was a female receptionist as well as a male at the desk. I did not realise the actual spa was one floor above the reception level, and was making a decision on whether to stay or not. The prices are pretty fixed. $75 for 45min. There is no half hour or 1 hour, the blocks of time are all in 45 mins blocks. I figured I have a sore back, so what the hell. $75 for 45 mins was okay. A little steep by other AMP standards.

At this point, u have to be careful. Other AMPs will ask you how long you want to stay, but this guys just whisk you upstairs without asking what you want or how long you plan to stay. I should have settled ths up front with them first. I was escorted up the stairs where a male attendent greeted me. He brought me to a locker room first, where an electronic key opened a locker. Put my clothes and shoes inthere, and changed into a 2 piece pajama. U can also go with just a towel. He than brought me to the shower area. This is a really impressive room. THere is a row of showes stalls with all the usual soap and what not in there. A wet and dry sauna. 2 hot tubs, and about a dozen large reclining chairs with build in tv monitors (where do I get one of those for myself ), and a large screen wall mounted TV. Hopped in the shower, than waited on one of these loungers. A different man came in this time, and brought me to the massage rooms. I thought I would be shown the girls in a lineup. But I had asked for one that was good in massage, especially deep and hard massage.

He introduced me to Sasa, a short girl (maybe 5ft), in high heels with a very short black skirt. I was hesitant at first. I did not think she was a good masseuse, as she look a bit young and how were they supposed to do a good job in high heels? Passed a few other girls, they all look cute too. Sasa later indicated that there were Japanese, and Korean girls as well as the usual ones form China. Massage started on a wide massage table, too hard for my liking. Sasa has to call the front desk, and tells them its 2 block of time, even though I did not ask for 1 1/2 hours. I did not like this bit of upselling. I figured i will go along with it if she is good, but if the massage is lame, I will cut it short at 45 mins. Later I asked her why she booked 2 blocks and she said if you were really sore, 45 mins is too short for a good massage.

Ok, so she is really good. I see RMTs on a weekly basis, and I have to say she is better than them. She could really work the knots out of my back, gluts, neck etc. She initially started the first 15 min still inher heels, I half expected her to trip and sprain an ankle. That's how high they were. SHe used the hand rails on my back and gluts, holy cow, that was deep. She definitely knows the muscle groups. During the massage, we chit chatted. Found out she is from HKG, and had just arrived 1 week ago. She did some massaging in HKG too. SHe has a pretty face, mid 20s, and large tits. SHe said they were 36Ds!. Notice how I cleverly weaved in her tits during our chit chat?

SO, we come to the flip and she goes for the boys right away. Asks me if I want the "sparciar". I said its "Special". She says "Sparcia". I jokingly tell her she needs to learn more english by massaging white guys. SHe says its $60 for a HJ. I did see a sign in the locker room earlier that says tips were $30-$50. I figured ok, she gave a terrific massage for 1 1/2 hours. Non of that lame massage for 5 mins, than flipping you over and asking whether u want a extra service or not.BS. I agree to it. I inquired about FS, she says it has to be done at another room. I wanted to see her boobs, and they were natural and large. I have to say in HKG, they would have been a D standard. Here, a large C maybe. But still, imagine a short, petite , waist lenght hair girl, with huge natural boobs, topped by big nipples. I told her she must have lots of boyfriends in HKG.

I said my farewells, and I take a shower and get back to my locker. All my clothes and wallet, etc, were still there. That's good I am just saying this tongue in cheek as this establishment is too high class to do that. Went downstairs to the reception to pay. This is where the not perfect ending happens. I pay my $150, and the $60 tip directly to the front desk. I normally prefer to pay the girl directly, but because u can't take your wallet to the showers, you have to do it this way. The girl tries to upsell me on a prepaid package. Like one of those frequent clients thing. I said no, as the cheapest one was over $500. If I was intending to go there on a regular basis, maybe. She than brings in her male boss and they try to hardsell me again on the package. WTF, which part of NO didn't you understand? He than says the tip for Sasa is $80. I said I negotiated $60 with her and that is what I intend to pay. We went back and forth on this a bit but I did not back down, and eventually paid the $60. Could be a case of them trying to squeeze an extra $20 from the client. U know, give the girl the $60, and keep the $20 for themselves. In the end, I figured it was decent value for the buck. Most masseuse like Joanna will charge $150 for the hour with a hand release anyway. This works out to $210 for 1 1/2 hour with a hand release.

Would I see Sasa again, hell yes. ARe the facilities great, yes top notch. Do I want to deal with the management of this place again? No. I am going to figure out if there is some way to bring the tip with me to the room the next time, and give it to the girl directly, I don't trust these guys to give the full tip to the girls. I am sure there are already other reviews on the Water club, but this is just my long winded experience.
