Review: Ecuador and Bordelas in the "Zone of Tolerance"

I put this note on The Columbia message board because it's the closest to Ecuador.

Every city in Ecuador seems to have a "Zone of Tolerance". I was in Guayaquil for one night and in Cuenca for two weeks, studying Spanish, and had a close look. On this street in Cuenca there are six bordellas. On a typical afternoon during the week there will be forty or fifty girls hanging out across these establishments.

There are no tourists or gringos at any of them, it's strictly a local show. I asked at the bar "cuanta cuesta la cuenta?" which means "How much is a ticket?". He gave me a plastic card and asked for ten dollars. Beers there are two dollars and the locals really seemed to be nursing them.

Some girls really dressed up with high heels, a tight mini skirt, jewellry, and makeup. Others were really laid back in blue jeans and a T shirt which is more my style. Around the room in one place there were seventeen doors, each leading to a private room. Above the door is a red light which is lit whenever someone is inside. You just walk up to a girl and she takes you to a room. Everyone in the place watches your approach, with some envy, and afterward I had strangers congratulate me or ask me how it was.

Now for ten dollars this is a very basic service. The room has a concrete floor and a bed made of cinderblocks. The girl had her own bed sheet in her purse and put it around a very basic looking "gym mat" kind of a mattress. The lights stay on and she takes a position "quadra" means "on all fours", or whatever. I told one girl I want "mas besos" or "many kisses". I got those kisses afterward in a rush all over my nose and face. GFE it was not.

No fooling around, make it quick, then wash up from a basin and pitcher in the room. Pants up and everyone out.

If you decide to visit you need to know one expression "tres platos" which means "three courses". These courses are "oral", "vaginal", and "anal" in their words. When i asked for tres platos she said "un poco mas" or "a little more". I gave her $5 but read later that $2 would be plenty. No squirming, she took it all like a man would. Here at least was some extra value.
