I always shower at home before going to Miami Spa just incase they don't offer the table shower or I don't have time for one.

I shower before going to a spa as well (wouldn't do to walk in with stinky feet) but I always take a TS because it's part of the pampering experience. That's why I like AMPs. Seriously? Where else can a middle age dude get soaped down, toweled off, massaged and serviced by a sweet young thing for $.6? For those 45 minutes I get treated like I am the king of the world.

Don't think that's true. At least in my personal experience. It's an AMP. You either click with the girl or you don't. She either goes "above and beyond" or she doesn't. YMMV
Whatever happens, you're going to bust a nut. Might as well enjoy some of the side trips before you reach the final destination.

Interesting discussion about the table showers. I enjoy them, and while they may not add any activities to the menu, anything that might help spark a better connection is a plus in my book. Gives us a few minutes to get the look and feel of each other's bodies before jumping in.
