Review: Kess of Levendale

Based on some recommendation, I paid a visit to Kess at 6 Levendale. Levendale intersects Young Street, north of Major Mac, on the west side.

Place: 3 rooms, shower in the back. The quality of the room isn't great, but isn't good either. The whole place is painted pink.

Kess: mid-40 oriental lady. To be honest, when I first saw her I had the intension to leave since I didn't except someone of her age. She's not a looker at all.

However, her service is hard to match. She didn't even start by asking how long I wanted the massage for, and went straight to give me a "soft massage" for the first 5 minutes. Then she asked me if I want "hard massage" and I said yes. She's close to Chang's Holistic but not quite there. That being said, it is one of the better hard-massage I have received recently.

Then...sorry, can't give you detail. Just let me say that she has a reputation of being a "Oriental Nona", for those who knows what kind of service Nona provides (I yet have to personally try it).

Cost: now, this is the funny part. Since she didn't ask me how long I want the massage for, and she was still fully clothed at the end of the session, I didn't know how much to pay her! Even more funnier thing is that when I ask her how much it was, she said that it was "up to" me. It was definitely a strange situation since I didn't want to over/under-pay her. Finally, I insisted that she name a price, and was happy to pay for the asked price.

Will I repeat? I don't know. The place is not great and she's not a looker at all. Her service (and the type of) is great. I guess it will depend on my mood if I ever go back there.

I agree, except the girls at Changs are eye candy compared to Kess.



I told Kess I had been there before and payed her $$ amount. She was ok with it. I think after a couple of pints at the Falcon & Firkin I would head up there, but otherwise I pass.

I understand (from her) that the location is moving to Toronto within the next 6 weeks or so,
to the very short-lived spa that was at St Clair / Silverthorn (4 Silverthorn). I live not too far from there, and thare has been some action inside there remodelling (if a quick paint job qualifies, and general clean up).

Soon the trip to the Hill may not be necessary.
