They were ordered to shut down by the city. The city basically told the landlord he had to "evict" the tennant because they were busted so many times, or landlord would face a lawsuit. They were shut for over a year. The new owner probably doesn't have an occupancy permit and is therefore using the old name - figuring that the city will not enforce or bust the place...it is a matter of time before they get "red-taped." There was too much substance abuse by the staff under the previous management...AND the tennants in the shopping strip don't really want them there either. So be careful guys....just saying...
