anyone know what happened to revermede spa? can't seem to pull up their website - last time this happened, they closed down (under a different name of course)

if they are still around, can anyone offer any info on Felicia from rivermede?

Don't know when My My My posted that they were busted. Rumors abound with this spa, but they seemed to have avoided anything drastic with LE. However, I think they're not doing as well as Lou maybe thought they would at the new location. All his star girls and their clientele were downtowners and the customers didn't follow the girls out to the burbs.

Maybe Lou just decided to let the website die.

Here's the skinny on Rivermede as I heard it when I was asked to remove the website:

The lady that Lou bought the spa from, offered to buy it back from him when she saw that it was doing fairly well. He accepted the generous offer and went back into retirement.

He promised I will be the first to know when and if he and his staff resurface, and I'll keep everyone posted.

That may have generated more questions than it answered (none of which we'll probably ever know the answer to):

1) How does that story synch with the known LE problems? Was the change in ownership primarily to slide out of those?

2) If she bought it back because it was doing so well, what the hell did she buy? She didn't get the girls, the site, or the ongoing business... what did she buy? The outstanding facilities?

3) If it's currently in business, wouldn't they need the site? Or at least a functional facility? I haven't driven by, so for all I know the place is five-deep with waiting customers...
