rosacea tips
I can tell you what has helped me. My rosacea is not severe, but my skin has always been sensitive, anything containing mineral oil or petroleatum gives me zits. I'm allergic to most flowers and their extracts (not essential oils, though, thanks be!). I have found that washing in cool water, not hot, helps. Use the mildest cleanser you can find. NEVER sleep in a dirty face. That includes make-up. I found a product that is a Vitamin K cream that really helps with the redness. And I blend my own night lotion with aloe vera gel, vitamin E, a good oil-free face lotion, jojoba oil, and essential oils that soothe and heal skin, like rose, lavender, chamomile, myrrh, etc.( I keep experimenting to find the perfect blend for me) Alcohol makes it worse, either injested or applied to the skin. Harsh scrubs also increase redness, as does being too hot and stress, especially anger. Hope this helps, there doesn't seem to be much info out there that does not include antibiotics and other drugs!
