Rose (and her team-mate Linda, Japanese) advertise in Monday magazine. They work from an apartment in the Pembroke-Cook St. neighbourhood.
Rose is pictured in the Monday ad: She is short, perky, round-faced and Taiwanese. Her menu ranges from half-hour massage to FS. (I think she may be the Rose written about in eforum.xxx Vancouver; do a search). She points out that she's also a therapeutically trained masseuse. Which is why I opted for the 45-minute, $80 treatment. I guess I remembered too much Toronto's Chinese talent, at its best a sublime balance between skilled Shiatsu and intuitive sensuality.
The massage transpires on a mattress flung on the floor. It seems doubtful that anybody actually LIVES in the apartment. Rose's massage is shallow and perfunctory, as are moans, grunts and sound effects that might well be recorded announcements. "Oh yuuuu so strong," she observes of the spurting at happy conclusion, but it's just a template.
She costs a bit less than Lucy or Kalla, but delivers much less than Lucy or Kalla. She's not unpleasant and seems to mean well, but there isn't a note that strikes home.
