Anybody know what happened to Roxanna from Kamur,is she working anywhere else.

Definitely not Kamur anymore. I keep hearing rumors about Bar Idem (with her sister as well supposedly), but though I saw Chyna there (now a blond), I didn't see Roxana. I hope she's still around somewhere as she is, of course, something very special.

Speaking of names from the past, I actually saw Idalis back at Pantera Rosa this past trip (finally). She's the beautiful nica with the Dorothy Hammill bob cut whom I had a very good time with on one of my earlier forays there last year. Doesn't look quite as good post-bebe, but still worth seeking out.

I couldn´t really see Roxanna working in Idem. She was always in the upper tier at Kamur. I never could even get close because she was always with a VIP early. Don´t see her going for that budget. Not a knock, I´m impressed by Idem, I just see her working somewhere high dollar.

You cant blame her for getting the best price she can for her many talents. For a number of years, these chicas have the best sales jobs in the world...they sell everyday what is still theirs the next. While society in general looks down on it, some of these ladies have it pretty figured out. Roxanna IMHO is one of the smartest, foxiest girls on the scene in SJO. Probably belongs at Tango... 8)

One problem is they age so they should be maximizing their mileage. They can do so by jumping ship and I don't blame them. The minute they look older they lose some customers. If they get gorda or gordita... they lose some customers so they should maximize their earning potential. Even if means jumping ship. Agree or disagree? :

YOu're right VB ,although i had never sessioned with her and i would love to ,i will not even set foot in Tango again mainly because of their drink and dance pricesand there are plenty more fishes in the sea just as good as Roxanna and as MG would put it NEXT". Jay.

Don't misunderstand what I am saying here. I am all for a chica "maximizing" her earnings in any way possible. (including ALWAYS asking the Gringos for cien for services.) It's a fundamental principle of economics. (what a will buyer will pay a willing seller) However I sometimes have a problem with chicas thinking that they can raise their value quocient SUBSTANCIALLY by simple changing locations and not their job description. Some time back there was a chica named Tania who plied her trade at Idem. At that time the chicas at Idem were around $40 for an hour of pleasure,of which the chica received approximately $20. I see her at the DR one night and tell a friend what I have heard about her. He goes over to talk to her and comes back to our table with a funny look on his face. I asked what happened and he said "she asked me for $150. Now I ask you guys....how can a chica's asking price go from $20 (her end) to asking for $150 by simply walking 5 minutes up the street?

Because as anyone who's been around long enough knows full well, as soon as any chica steps through that magical entranceway of the Blue Marlin, she gets sprinkled with this special "desirability" fairy dust that instantly raises her perceived value past anything she may have previously imagined.

Until enough mongers take off the blinders and really view these chicas as they are, expect this amazing phenomenon to continue unabated...

There is nothing new with that scenario. Back in the old days (early 90's) you could find a girl working 747 in the early afternoon for 1500 colones (about $10.00), in the evening she was at Happy Days looking for 5000 colones and after 10PM you could find her at KL asking for 10000 up to 15000 colones .

Same girl just different setting and different time of day.

Idem chicas are famous for this. They get $20-24/hr but after hours or on their off days, they would like $70 or even $100.

(Or $300 as I heard one funny ass story over Labor Day : )
