One of my clients had the disc between C6 and C7 rupture spontaneously around Christmas day. She had then an epidural that relieved a lot of the intense pain (she also had pain on left upper traps and tingling and numbness down to left little and ring finger).
She came for gentle acupressure that seemed to help for a few weeks.
Then she started having pain around the opposite shoulder blade. She had another epidural then and since that shoulder pain started nothing has helped. she is trying PT for the second time but feels wiped out and more sore from it, like "it is to intense and her body can't handle", like it is too rough for her.
My question is:
Does anybody have experience with the healing process of a ruptured disc? Would pain between the shoulder blades - actually in the whole upper back, down to the bra line - be related to the disc between C6 and 7? Could something else be going on?
I would appreciate any input. Thank you
