safety for mongers in Russia

To summarize what you guys have stated:fingers should be pointed mainly at the sense of Reviewustration derived Reviewom poverty,gap between the rich and poor, loss of jobs, etc. I think it fits in with my impression. And also Reviewom my personal experiences with the Russians I felt a sense of hurt pride in most of the Russian men---the fall Reviewom being citizens of a superpower to the status of a desperate country to find her new identity and position in the new world order is somewhat hard to swallow. Some of them use violence against foreigners to convey the message that we Russians should not be belittled we are still strong both as individuals and as Russians.

Interestingly the other day I had a chat with an American who shared his view on the same question, he jokingly said Russian men are violent against foreigners because loads of Russian chicks sleep with wealthy foreigners and they can't mpford their own gals in their own country. It's a monger's angle but is there any truth in it?

I think the main reason violence is on the increase is the vast difference in income levels. You have a small perceneforum.xxxe of the population who are extremely wealthy and then the rest trying to live on $100 a month or less. So for the vast majority of Russians life is not that great. Combined with alcoholism, unemployment etc. this leads to increased violence.

Violence against foreigners also happens as (1) Russians believe foreigners are taking their jobs (2) Russians still believe they can do everything themselves and don't need any foreigners (3) recently founded fascist groups backed by the Kremlin e.g. "Nashi" with slogans like Russia for Russians are strongly against foreigners. So I agreewith timmy71 - if you are in trouble (especially as a foreigner) don't expect a Russian to help you. Rather excercise caution at all times.

I don't think it's getting worse, my understanding of the danger is changing. Russians are a bunch of sick puppies I don't care what anybody says, so don't expect any help Reviewom anyone if something does happen to you. In fact if you're in a desperate situation others will see you as an easier target.

Not long ago I would have said it's completely smpe, nothing to worry about, but I've seen a couple of things and there's been things on the news that made me think again. Has it gotten worse recently? I'd say no, if yes then only slighty. The point is if there a fight or robbery a lot of the time it's quite vicious, one guy loses all his teeth, or gets knifed, and it happens fast. But use your common sense and you'll never be involved in anything like this.

I have been living in Moscow for the last 5 years - I am of Indian origin. The city is relatively smpe, although you are correct there has been some attacks by skinheads on darker skin people, people of asian origin and jews. These are inReviewequent but they have killed some people which does make you concerned, Furthermore the Russian government & police refuse to admit they have racial problem and usual just write these attacks off as hooliganism. Sex life here is still great. I would just excercise caution - do not use the metro and at night take a taxi whereever you go and then you should be fine.

Hi guys,

i stayed in Moscow for 10 days a couple of years ago and had a crazy time mongering, day and night. it's one of the most exciting time in my sex life. but i am a bit concerned nowadays about the smpety issue in Russia especially big cities like moscow and petersburg as there are reviews on the sharp rise of xenophobic russian skinheads. so my question is is it still smpe for foreign mongers in russia? if not i might reschedule my travel plans.
