Ive just relocated to the San Pedron area and I am looking for some good MPs in the area. i already know the pricey one ZB, NF, etc. I am looking for some hidden gems. Can you help a fellow member out?

Check the second sticky in this forum...RBC100's "Massage Parlor and Tico Bar" list. I believe there are some references to "Gatitas"...an MP in San Pedro.

I know of one Tico MP over that way that I don't think has ever been mentioned on the board before. It is in Zapote. The taxi directions are 300 meters south of the Correo de Zapote, just past the bridge, #26, a papaya colored house on the right.

I only went there once (about four months ago), but had a great time with a very friendly 22 year old Nica (don't remember her name). If I was over in that part of San Jose more often I'd check it out regularly.

It was c12,000/hr.

Sorry to let you guys know but...

DESCANSO and MANOS TRAVIESAS have been closed down. Apparently they were owner by the same guy, and that guy got thrown in jail because authorities found out an und***ge girl working in there. So... it´s no more for these two places. Most girls have gone down to Tsunami Studio by the Centro Comercial del Sur, or the Mansion right around the corner from Pantera Rosa.

And "ESPECIALES" refers to a house in San Francsico where two lesbian girls work by themselves. The lowdown is to have them provide a show with a blowjob at the end, no sex...and one of the girls is pretty thick by the way, can´t imagine how the other girl is her girlfriend...

I used to live out that way. Best thing to do is get on the bus and ride downtown. You won't save anything by shopping locally and your selection will be minimal.

My take on San Pedro is that it's a decent place but didn't quite fit what I wanted. I had thought I would enjoy being close to the University, but I found that the students were pretty much Ch*ldren of middle class and above Ticos, and differed little from their Gringo counterparts. The 'social' scene is of the loud music (very very loud) and drink a lot type. If I had been younger (under 40 at least) and had my Spanish been adequate I might have been able to have fun.

I found myself taking the bus downtown when I wanted to go out at night, then taking a taxi home. As far as other things go, there's plenty of shopping but things are more spread out than downtown. pm me if you have something specific you'd like my take on.

I live in San Pedro and really like living here but for sure there is almost no action en San Pedro. As Bilko said, the University chicas are for the most part, are not very accessable. Also I really think speaking spanish would be a must. That said, I have managed to pick up a couple of girls en the mall--one pro and one non pro. There are working girls that shop there and if the opportunity arises, will not turn down the chance to make an extra $ ( they have to pay for those expensive cloths)!!!! :roll:

As I have reported in another post, there is one MP (was 2, but one closed)in a very bad area. They only cater to Ticos unless they know you and to be honest, most of the time there is not much to choise from. Have not been by Gatitas lately but it was diffiantly closed the last time I went by there.

The nice thing about living in San Pedro (at least the area where I am) is that it is realitively safe and very convient to everything including only 5 minutes by bus to the DR.

Right in front of the Shell gas station right next to the Centro Comercial del Sur, in front of a painting store, there is a little massage place called "Tsunamy Studio" (I know it´s not spelled like that but that is how they put it). Reminds me a lot from the original Oasis; nice, clean massage rooms, girls are 6-8 in looks. Prices are pretty much the same, 10k half hour, 12k full hour. Here you will find some girls who used to be at NF and at ZB; I won´t say it´s the best place out there, but it is definitely worth a look...
