Saving money on books

I'm a bit of a bookaholic, and thought this year it would be wise to STOP buying every single book I see.

I'd love to hear what books you have found helpful for ITEC Sports Massage and if anyone is interested in selling, I might even have a few pennies left in the bank.

are a really good site for second hand books, there are uk sellers on there and you can do a uk search. i got one from them absolutely brand new and £15 less than the jacket price. Mel Cash's books are good for Sports.

but another good place is www.eBay.co.uk & of course Amazon.co.uk
( amazon - the market place sell good 2nd hand books too.

Oh how nice to know that I am not the only person who buys every book going!
I have more A & P books than Amazon and Waterstones together! It has got a bit of a standard joke between me and my best mate - she is as bad! we have even bought the same book rather than share. Our Louise Tucker books we tore apart and put into a ring binder so that we could use it easier and also take the pages out to trace over!!
I bought 3 sports massage books before even enrolling on the course and some of the massage books I have hardly opened and yet I still want to buy more!

I just love going into the book shops and browsing through the shelves.

Isn't part of the problem that each tutor also has their own pet authors and will work from these texts.
you then have to have the particular book , other wise you get marked down on written work

I agree www.eBay.co.uk is an excellent source for second hand books.

My all time favouite book shop is http://www.watkinsbooks.com/ which I believe is the oldest book shop in the uk for the weird & wonders of the spiritual, alternative medicine, etc.

How about some free online books for A&P, etc from http://medicalbooks.a2zfree.net/
