I was detoxed twice and it did nothing for me.
I read a medical doctor's website, Dr. Barrett who sponsors 'Quackwatch' and learned the foot detox is a scam ! It is popular and very big in New York. But there are no medical beneifts according to Dr. Barrett's website.
I asked my personal physician and he said it is a waste of money. Aqua detox does not remove toxins and clean joints. Neither does it remove lead and mercury out of the body. He strongly recommended that I use my money for other things because going for a detox is a complete waste of money.
The person who started this venture lives in England and is around 70 years old. According to her C.V., she is not a medical doctor, she is not a Ph.D, she is not have a MPh. I don't know whether or not she has a 4 year degree. It appears as though she went to some off the wall, unknown, UNACCREDITED 'colleges'(?) and received some certificates in Oregon and I think New Mexico. I was told her 'work' is primarily in Spain. She is not a licensed therapist and does not have the education to back up "Dr." This is all according to articles on different websites.
It would be wonderful if the detox machines worked, but sadly it is a scam
And people are being sued over claims made by so-called 'therapists'.
I say buyer / user beware ! SCAM . . . . . . .
