I have a client that I have been seeing for about a month. When she first came to me it was because she was having sciatic pain in the Rt. side that traveled down to her knee. I have been working gluts, periformis, QL, and TFL on both sides and she has been streching and using a tennis ball at home. She is seeing relief of the pain and has started exercising again, but now she is experiencing pain in the groin area and asis. She is a nurse and thinks that her body is starting to heal and now areas that were compensating for the sciatic pain are now able to experience pain because they don't have to compensate as much? I am a fairly new MT and don't want to miss some thing that I could help with. Does anyone has any suggestions or have experienced this with a client?
