Hi, Just been checking todays threads, and felt I should reply, I may be able to help a little.
Back pain: There is no quick fix. Most problems are due to poor posture, ...we become world champions at watching TV, sitting in front of computers and generally lounging around. The human body has a design weakness around the lower back, andwhen combined with poor posture or overuse in a particular way, problems will follow.
Corrective exercises are the best long term way to help ourselves. Stretching the tight muscles, (in sciatica: the quads on your thighs) and strengthening the spinae erector muscles running up the spine.
Advice, finding a postural corrective specialist is the key. They willadvise youwith a corrective programme, and hopefully stretch you back into alignement. ...They are hard to find but do exist.
I am an acupuncturist, and commonly see clients with back issues, many of them were linked too their work, so dentists and builder and office professionals. In the end I made a short book for them which empowers them with an acupressure protocol using the primary acupuncture points for back pain and sciatica, alongside some gentle exercsises to strengthen the lower back.
Please let me know how you go, all the best, Tim
