Hi, I have scoliosis and went to surgery 5 years ago. But I still I can feel pain on my back at times. The doctor says that its normal but sometimes the pain is unbearable. What do I do?

Another thing, I have a hump on my back due to my scoliosis. Is goin through accupuncture helps the hump lessen? I am really bothered about this.

I'm sorry to hear about your back pain - I've had my fair share of it recently, and know how utterly hellish it is.

Can you please rewrite that cos I'm not clear what you are asking? There'll be loads of folk here willing to advise, but I'm guessing that like me, they aren't clear what you are saying.

Hi

I had spinal fusion surgery 17 years ago when I was 13-14. For the first 15 years I lived trouble-free however in the last two years I have suffered from chronic and debilitating lower back pain.

Have you seen a specialist or spoken to your GP about it? I have tried physio, osteopathy and chiropractic treatment to no avail. There are some websites that say that it is due to dengeneration of the discs... any advice????????????

I also have mild scoliosis - does anyone know if scoliosis grows worse with age or if there are any precautions to take to prevent it growing worse?

Have you considered going to see a Massage Therapist?

You should as you would feel a great difference.
