I've used Scotiabank for years and they haven't given me any problems except for once. I had an issue about 15 years ago, called up head office, explained the situation and threatened to pull everything out as Trisexual suggested. They went through hoops to make it right.

I concur... Sad thing is, I was a member of Canada Trust for YEARS! They were great... until TD swallowed them up... Now, they are not as bad as Royal or Scotia, but every so often I'm reminded that I liked them better when they were just Canada Trust. uch:

Again disagree, their first few years was tough on the TD staff to change their style. Now they have broken the barrier and I always get personable and friendly service.

I missed the word "not" in my earlier message which gave my post a more negative connotation than was intended.

My point is that TD is NOT as bad as Royal and Scotia, but they were still way better when it was just Canada Trust.

I remember it well! Used to work at Eaton Ctr many moons ago!

Out front the Dundas doors of the Eaton Ctr were great too... There was a nice spot to sit and ogle the babes all you wanted... (Except there was this one creepy perv of a dude that always tried to scoop my spot! I spilled a coffee on him one day hoping that would scare him off... :tongue: didn't work! :roll

I too was a CanTrust client, and seriously annoyed after the takeover.uch:

BUT after years of extensive dealings, and comparing with Scotia in the last year-

EXCELLENT front end computer systems at TD- far superior to the antiquated Scotia:geek:
VERY GOOD branch service, at many different branches:great:
TERRIBLE Head Office & specialized departments:grrrrrr:

Banks do not give two shits about serving the public. The big money is with corporations or any type of company.

If banks had it their way.....they wouldn't have any locations or employees, everything would be done online.
